Writing is a creative endeavor. It is the end product of a creative process, which takes you on a journey through your own passionate and creative self. Even if you aren't aware of this process, it happens!
As creative individuals, writers and artists and other creative people sometimes find themselves unable to create. It's deadly for a professional to suddenly find their mind empty. However, this emptiness is exactly what you need to meditate...so when there is nothing there, meditate. After you meditate, you'll often be surprised what creativity comes floating into your consciousness.
If you want to be more successful, you must first be in your creative mind to create it. You must think about being successful passionately. Then, you must make all your actions in sync with this thought of being successful. To think about being more successful and then acting in opposition of this, simply cancels out any passion you might have had for it.
